Mango Berry Smoothie

I came across this recipe from Our Best Bites and requested it for my birthday dessert.  We loved it!  My husband and daughter were huge fans.
1 1/2 cup peach, dragon fruit mango, or other juice
1 cup frozen raspberries and/or strawberries (add ice if using fresh)
1 cup frozen mango chunks
1 1/2 cup pineapple sherbet
Blend up and enjoy! Makes 4 smoothies.

My Go-to Smoothie

I suppose the best way to start out a blog entitled "smoothie runner" is with a smoothie recipe.  This is my first and possibly favorite smoothie recipe.  I have fond memories of making this for breakfast after working out with my mom while living at home one summer.

Put 1 cup yogurt (I like to use vanilla), 1/2 cup milk or water, about 1/3 cup frozen mixed berries, 1/2 frozen banana (you could definitely use fresh here), and about 7 ice cubes in a blender.  Blend away and enjoy!  Makes 2 large smoothies or 4 smaller ones.
